With an appreciation of natural fabrics comes a respect for our environment and an understanding of our collective responsibility to protect it.
Violet Clark Studio garments are produced in small production runs (20-30 units) across two collections a year using only high-quality natural fibres. Excess fabric or offcuts are used to make accessories that have smaller pattern pieces.
Intentionality is put behind the design of each collection, to produce garments that will stand the test of time both in their visual appeal and their structural integrity.
Our packaging is minimal, eco friendly and plastic free. We use compostable mailers, FSC tissue paper and swing tags + postcards made from recycled paper.

One dollar from each sale also goes directly to the Plant-a-Tree program with Carbon Neutral, an Australian organisation working with individuals and organisations to reduce impact on the planet.

Violet Clark Studio products are touched by a rich tapestry of creative hands in fashion.
Drawing inspiration from the Australian landscape, our textiles and garments are designed here in Australia by a handful of designers, pattern makers and sample machinists.
Our collections are then produced ethically by a small enterprise of craftspeople in Jiangsu, China. This studio comprises a team of 16 highly skilled makers in specialised garment manufacturing—such as sewing with silk—who selectively work with independent Australian brands to meet smaller minimum units across styles.
They are SMETA audited yearly by SGS, an independent third party to ensure that working conditions are held to a high standard. Workers are paid an hourly, living wage that is 5 x the minimum wage in China, with optional overtime and paid holidays.
